If you want thick, heavy, LOW LYING fog form a fog machine, you need to chill it, right? RIGHT?
Not so fast, Kemosabe! Check out the Roberts Fogger:
Fog fluid is a mixture of glycol and water. The heater in the fogger heats the water and shatters the glycol into tiny droplets. The theory is that the extremely hygroscopic dry glycol vapor is attaching to the airborne water droplets and forming heavier glycol and water droplets that sink.
This is a pretty interesting effect - and you do not have to use any coolant at all!
