So, who wants to creepify some dollies?
Why? Because dolls are almost as creepy as kids, and a lot easier to modify without legal consequences.

We'll talk about some ways to alter dolls to make them even creepier. You are welcome to come with nothing. There will be some dolls and supplies available first come, first served.
Otherwise, maybe raid the kids' closets, hit up a yard sale or thrift store or two, and pick out something to corrupt.

Just about anything can be used for different effects:
    Water, Elmer's glue, and paper
    Crazy glue
    Hot glue
    Spray Paint
    Acrylic paint
    Wood stain
    Epoxy putty
    Xacto knife
    Box cutter
    Soldering iron / hot knife
    Plastic wrap
    Heat gun
    Screws
    Bolts
    Wire
    Bones
    Bits of other dolls
    Hair
    More???

    WHEN & WHERE:
    Saturday, August 18, 2018
    10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

No idea how to modify a doll?
Maybe you can find some inspiration HERE.

    Alternatively, try this Google Search.

Perhaps you prefer the Doll Asylum?
Maybe this Gothic Tea Society collection?

Whatever your tastes, see you at the lab!

I bought a bunch of dolls at Goodwill last weekend. I was looking for dolls that had sounds or movement whenever possible. I put them in the trunk. I didn't tell anyone else. Why would I?

So, my wife is driving the car around alone and as she pulls into a parking lot, she hears giggling and "play with me mommy!". She's in a school parking lot. No kids around. She's looking, sees nothing, but again hears "play with me, mommy!". She tells me she thought she was becoming schizophrenic. Just hearing a disembodied voice and giggling. Ha!

She eventually figured it out, but even then she did not actually open the trunk.

She was telling me this as we were driving in my car, and of course I thought it was hilarious. Then my son in the back says "I hear it too!". Sure enough, at the next light, we hear the giggling. He opens the trunk and not only is the dollie making noises, it's moving like it's trying to get out of the bag! He didn't jump, but he did make an involuntary "aauugghh..." sound, which also amused me.

    Dolls are creepy.

Brand new member so not sure if this is the correct way to rsvp (if not please advise). Mark me down for two people for Demented Dolls. I will be bringing our own dolls and extras to share. If other supplies are needed let me know that too. I am so happy I have found AZ Haunters!!!

    Glad to have you here!
This is really the only way to RSVP, so you got it!
Bring whatever supplies and/or tools you have. Not sure how many people are coming to this one as it got some local press.
