Flying Mergoat!
Do I have your attention yet? OK, it's really titled "Capricorn", but maybe you knew that.

"Rogue Taxidermy" was the brainchild of Sarina Brewer and her two colleagues, Scott Bibus and Robert Marbury. The genre was invented as a means to unite various styles of existing work into a singular category. The definition of "Rogue Taxidermy" is "A genre of pop-surrealist art characterized by mixed media sculptures containing conventional taxidermy-related materials that are used in an unconventional manner".

Here are some of the creatures for you inspiration and/or amusement.

OBSIDIAN

Esoteric esodermy: Sculpture made from the anatomical portion of an animal that is normally discarded during the taxidermy process, which is then preserved and presented in a lifelike pose that mimics conventional taxidermy. "Esodermy" is the term Brewer coined to describe this work.
