I also tried zombifying a smaller bear. This bear did not have any internal skeleton. I cut open a "mouth". I used hot glue to create an upper and lower palate. I also cut a slit in the back and pulled out some stuffing to make him more emaciated. Also, I removed bit of the left arm. Once again hot glue sealed the wound, and also held in place the protruding bone I got from my tree. ...
